Sofia Niño de Rivera
After a successful 14-city run of "Vacaciones de Sus Hijos: Gira 2024," with a dozen sold-out shows, Sofía Niño de Rivera is extending her tour with ten more dates. This extension will bring her sharp wit and relatable humor to new audiences before the year ends.
Sofía Niño de Rivera's U.S. tour has grown from a small initial run to a full-fledged third leg, totaling 24 shows. Her success in the U.S. comedy circuit reflects the broader globalization of Latin American culture, which is often associated with music but now includes comedy. The tour underscores the rising influence of Latin comedians, especially those like Niño de Rivera, who perform in Spanish.
This tour has also allowed Sofía to break new ground in fresh U.S. markets, showcasing the evolving landscape of Latin American comedy. With over 95% of the first two legs sold, Sofia has sustained a successful track record. In this new run, Sofía Niño de Rivera aims to continue to amplify the voices of Latinos and Spanish speakers, further solidifying her place in the international comedy scene.
Audiences in new markets can expect to see the same vulnerability Sofia showed through the first two legs, connecting through humor in the everyday struggles people face while surprising them with her notorious in real time tailoring skits.
