Pauline Zonneveld: The Good Old Dog Project
Celebrating the spirit of dogs in their golden years!
October 1 – 31, 2014
First Thursday Reception: October 2, 2014 5-8PM
Portland’5 Centers for the arts is pleased to present The Good Old Dog Project, a solo exhibition of Dutch portrait photographer Pauline Zonneveld. Please join us on Thursday October 2, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m., in the Antoinette Hatfield Hall lobby, for the First Thursday exhibition reception and to meet the artist.
In the exhibition on display October 1 – 31 in the Antoinette Hatfield Hall lobby, Pauline Zonneveld presents a series of elderly dogs. The portraits celebrate the fortitude, grace and uniqueness of dogs that have made it to that time of life when hearing and eyesight begin to go and when steps become uncertain. Pauline’s images are a testament to survival and finding meaning and joy in life while facing physical limitation and challenges. Her good old dog work is about celebrating life, endurance, and pure love.
Pauline Zonneveld is a Dutch native, residing in Oregon since 2007. Pet portraiture is the heart and soul of her photographic work. Pauline’s photos are exhibited regularly.
