The odds are against this intriguing pair. A Japanese wife and her Black husband struggle against the headwinds of racism, cultural misunderstandings, and the passage of time that have worn them and their 30-year marriage to the bone. But she’s not content to toss it all out like a pot damaged in the red-hot kiln.
