Revels presents a world premiere work by local actor/singer/songwriter Lo Steele, celebrating the bonds women build through the ritual of styling one another’s hair. At the Root features a series of short vignettes showcasing these rituals as markers of life transitions. Creating and honoring community with choral singing and audience participation, this is production not to be missed.
