About the performers
KARMA RIVERA
Karma Rivera has made herself a regional star by proving she has range: pop-flavored Hip-Hop, melodic trap-like instrumentation, and Latin-infused dance music all percolates through. The indie rapper rose to prominence in the Pacific Northwest after a series of single releases and buzz worthy show performances. Karma Rivera has emerged as one of the Pacific Northwest's most euphoric talents, proving the allure of her ability to bring clever punchlines and lyrical grit to the modern, pop-leaning rap genre while upholding the roots of the Golden Age’s focus on lyricism.

LUVJONEZ
Luvjonez (he/his) is a Puerto Rican instrumental hip hop producer and musician based in Portland, Oregon. He weaves a nostalgic and downtempo blend of musical influences from his cultural roots, extensive travels, and multimedia artistic experiences. His instrumental tracks combine Down South, East Coast, and Pacific Northwest elements, creating a genre-defying mix of lofi, jazzy, downtempo, and boom bap vibes. Aside from his own artistic output, he is also co-founder and co-host of A Beat Happening, an all ages, free, monthly, inclusive music producer and DJ showcase that celebrated its 6th year anniversary July 2023.

JULIMAR
Julimar Is a creative from Maracaibo, Venezuela who moved to the US with her mom at 11 years old. Music was the one thing that helped Julimar deal with the culture shock. She spent her free time after school listening to music that felt like home. Around that time she was deeply inspired by Daddy Yankee’s El Cartel Album. For many years music was her escape but with time she realized music/writing was her calling in life.

EL NENE GABY
El Nene Gaby is new to the DJ scene in the Portland metro area. His origin story and love for music starts all the way back in a small town in Florida called Kissimmee. Being born to a Puerto Rican mother and Argentinian father, he was always introduced to multiple genres of music from Salsa, Bachata, Tango, Rock, and Jazz. His earliest memories of music were at his family’s parties, where they would blast Salsa all night long or when his mother was cleaning the house on Sunday playing Juan Luis Guerra, while dancing and singing with the mop of course. Djing not only being his musical creative outlet, Gabriel also plays guitar, bass, drums and piano and plays drums for a local band in Portland called The Moon Caravan. His love for reggaeton began around middle school when he would steal and listen to his older sister burned mix CDs lying around her room. Those years shaped his style and influenced his taste today. While the Caribbean population in Portland is small, El Nene Gaby is always trying to sprinkle that Puerto Rican Sazón anywhere he goes.
